Toddler Room (18 months – 2.5 years)

Toddlers are on the move — walking, climbing, talking, and testing the world around them at every turn. Our Toddler Room is designed to keep up with that energy while giving your child the safety, structure, and warmth they need to explore with confidence.

Health & Safety Come First

As your toddler becomes more mobile and independent, our teachers stay closely attuned to their safety. Our classroom is arranged and supervised specifically for busy toddlers, with routines and precautions built into every part of the day.

A Classroom Built for Little Explorers

  • Kid-sized furniture and toys within easy reach, so children can play safely and independently
  • Soft flooring and secured furnishings to support safe climbing, walking, and movement
  • Toys and surfaces sanitized throughout the day
  • Diapering and bathroom routines handled with consistent, hygienic procedures

Consistent, Watchful Care

  • Low child-to-teacher ratios so every toddler gets individual attention
  • Secure entry and sign-in/sign-out procedures
  • Daily health checks and clear illness policies to protect the whole classroom
  • Teachers trained in pediatric first aid and CPR

Care Built Around Your Toddler

Every toddler transitions differently, and our teachers work in partnership with you to make that transition smooth. We keep communication open throughout the day — sharing updates on meals, naps, mood, and milestones — so you always know how your child’s day is going, and we stay attuned to any changes you share with us about home.

Learning Through Everyday Moments

Whether it’s stacking blocks, scribbling with crayons, or asking “why?” for the tenth time that hour, our Creative Curriculum®-based approach meets toddlers exactly where they are and builds on their natural curiosity.

Growing Minds & Bodies

Sorting, counting, stacking, and climbing all build early math thinking alongside physical strength and coordination. Our teachers turn everyday play into brain-building moments.

Understanding Feelings

Toddlers are just starting to navigate big emotions. Our teachers help children name their feelings, form first friendships, and build the social-emotional foundation for getting along with others.

Talking More Every Day

We immerse toddlers in a language-rich environment — narrating routines, asking questions, and reading together — so vocabulary and early communication skills grow naturally throughout the day.

Expressing Themselves

From finger painting to music and movement, toddlers explore creativity through hands-on art, songs, and imaginative play that builds fine motor skills along the way.

Playing Outside

Toddlers get outside daily for active play — running, digging, climbing, and exploring nature — building strong bodies and a love of the outdoors.
